Recent nerfs have done a lot of damage to the chemtech drake, which has become one of the worst objectives of the game.
A short but intense life
In her short life, the chemtech drake has already given us much to talk about. As we commented last week, Riot Games has received numerous criticisms throughout the preseason due to the power of the chemtech drake and its Rift.
However, right now we have a completely opposite situation, and that is that with Riot’s attempt to adjust this objective, and after several nerfs, the drake has lost almost all of its potential and has become probably one of the worst souls available in the game currently.
Next patch improvements
The developer wants to take advantage of the beginning of Season 12 to improve this drake and be able to balance it definitively.
In the Public Beta Environment (PBE) or “test-centric” server, the changes that the chemtech drake will present in the next patch have already been anticipated:
- Damage within the chemtech fog zone increases from 10% to 12%.
- The length of camouflage increases from 1.5 seconds to 2.5 seconds.
A priori they seem quite interesting changes but we will have to wait for the new patch to see how they affect both the rankeds and the high-level competition.
Let’s hope they work, they will please the players, and we can finally leave this drake alone (at least for a while) who has had no respite since her arrival at the Rift.
